As much as it clearly makes the bristle, Silas’ hand coming up is both effective and necessary. Bralens already open mouth snaps shut again, their eyes rolling as they listen to the concerns listed. Less than they’d have thought, in all honesty.

“[say]They claim they know who did the bombings too, and we’re all still stuck aren’t we?[/say]” No small amount of sass fills Bralens voice, wide dark eyes focusing on Silas and his reaction. They’re winning this, they can just feel it, a premature grin sliding across their face. “[say]We can take something out. Something small, fiddly. Hard to find and harder to replace.[/say]” Their hands fold together, coming to rest under their chin as Bralen beams across at the other.

Something else comes to mind then, makes the edges of their grin curl up just a little more. “[say]Its not like we even need to tell Serkli everything either. Just us can keep a secret, right Crendo?[/say]”
He settles in to listen as Bralen offers their retorts, his eyes sharp as he takes in each listed bullet point, each though that seems to grow more and more realistic the longer he sits on it to think. “[say]Yeah, we’re still stuck.[/say]” He admits belatedly, rubbing his chin and scratching the side of his face as he folds his arms in the face of Bralen’s beaming smile.

And really, who is he to deny them when they list out everything so well? And now he has all the information he needs regarding when Serkli inevitably comes knocking. So he pushes off the desk, walks around in an aimless sort of pattern (though for anyone that knew him like Bralen might, there’s nothing aimless about it), before he turns to them with an expression not unlike a father being worn down.

“[say]Alright, alright. I’ll help with Serkli, and if I don’t talk to you before then, well, I’ll see ya when the news breaks, Bray.[/say]” Silas flashes them an easier smile, before he steps forward and prods their shoulder to get them out the door. “[say]You’d better get goin’ kid before it starts to look suspicious, yeah?[/say]”

And besides, he’s got a lot of planning to do if they intend on making this work.
