Artisan is the least defined class, because it is the most varied one. You don’t have to only be a crafter to be an Artisan. This class will suit you if you want to be a painter, dancer, musician, businessman etc. It is also the only class which does not have different vocation trees - instead, the vocation itself will be tweaked to suit your specific needs. Just let an admin know what your goal is and which reward/s aren't fitting and we'll see what we can do!

Specialty

An Artisan's skills still need to be related to something, right? So, Artisans get to pick a (and then more) Specialty - their area of expertise, if you will. And this is where the variety comes in! We mentioned crafters before, and they would be a very simple choice: perhaps a potter, or a tailor. Very straightforward - you get to make physical objects of increasingly exceptional quality, and be able to collaborate with other vocations to make them specialized/enchanted to boot!

But what about the rest? Dancers and musicians? Well, their performance is their art and commerce, so how would you enjoy a vivid piano concert enchanted to take your mind away and wring every scrap of emotion from your soul? Delicious food with healing abilities? Stage performances of unrivaled immersion? For a businessman, it simply might be secured deals, or if you're more the innovate kind you could create all sorts of engineering masterpieces, filling many different functions... Perhaps you want to work on inventing the technology behind Kotoll's first version of VR/3D movies?

And then consider that along with being an Artisan you can choose to, for example, be a Mage, too. That's a pretty powerful combination, don't you think? Or perhaps you're a T5 Survivor (Medic), pursuing a career as a plastic surgeon and using your Artisan skills for great business strategies and stunning results.

Items

Most of the vanilla Artisan abilities are worded around items, and as mentioned above, if you're a crafter it's pretty straight-forward. For performers of any kind this would be things like new songs, movies, concerts, plays, etc. So if you're considering an Artisan with a less than tangible specialty, just substitute "item" with whatever word makes sense for your choice! :)

For the worth and attributes of items, see the Items article.
