Personality
Maven is nothing if not professional. Gentle and nurturing, she prides herself on an excellent bedside manner. She maintains an air of quiet competence even when she is off-duty. Although she can seem shy, or even distant, this is a wall she's built around herself to protect herself from being hurt. It's easier not to get close to people than it is to lose them. If you can get behind that wall, you will find that Maven is a loyal friend who cares deeply about those she cares about.

History
Early Life
Raised among the bourgeoisie, Maven led an affluent and sheltered life. Her father was a mage and her mother was an artisan, and Maven and her sister were raised in a loving home. Maven fell in love young and got pregnant at 16; the father of her child, unwilling to take responsibility, denied his involvement, leaving Maven to raise her child with only the support of her parents and sister. Gracelyn passed away from an incurable illness when she was two, leaving Maven devastated. Determined to save others from the same fate, Maven has pursued a career in medicine.
