Of The Season
Quote
"Tell Dr. Nate that Gale sent you, and he still owes me for the mushrooms. Except that it takes you a while to reach the clinic, and by the time you do your fever is spiking, and so instead of the requisite message you instead tell the poor soul who greets you that 'A gale'a m'shrooms sent me cus'a my hands.'" - Zephyr in Oh help me, please doctor, I'm damaged
This is by far the most impressive of the assembled games, a entire buildings facade popped up in a space normally occupied by fancy automobiles and well dressed stiffs. There are two doors, an entrance and an exit, both of them revealing a shimmering interior, lights reflected over and over until it hurts to look at.
The woman who ushers people in seems unsure of herself, her wringing hands at odds with the bright smile on her mask and the colourful feathers threaded through her hair. She is sure to wish every challenger a chipper “Good luck!” though, watching them disappear into the house of mirrors.
Welcome to the Attunement event! Each character will have one chance to make it through the house, though they may run into difficulties within! Please post your character entering the house.
This is a ATN roll

Deciding what to do first was difficult. There was so much to see, so many food carts and item stalls to go through. It was almost overwhelming. For the occasion, he had borrowed a colourful mask and a dark purple longcoat.
Cian had not spent a long time at the festival before he had found himself standing on the opposite side of the street from the shimmering building. He observed people passing by, and people deciding to entering. The mystical nature of it all was intriguing and after debating with himself for a while, he crossed the street to place himself in line.
The mannerism of the woman outside might be the one thing that made him feel a hint of hesitation, but he was committed now. He was here to have fun, after all. Experience what the festival had to offer. When it was his turn, he responded the woman's "Good luck" with a smile and a thanks, and took his first steps through the entrance.

As Cian enters the House of Mirrors, things begin to go well. He’s able to tell the difference between the path to take and the mirrors that try and throw him off track. A few lefts and a right leads to a hallway that seems to be covered with mirrors that are now far more difficult to tell where you’re supposed to go.
He almost makes it through the hallway, taking a turn and somehow ending up at a dead end. The three mirrors that block his path are a variety of fun mirrors – some that make him appear tall while some shrink him tiny and wide.
Cian has made it a quarter way through the house of mirrors maze and has encountered a dead end. He can go back to the hallway and try again!
Cian's eyes slowly adjust somewhat to all the lights inside the house, though he is forced to keep a small squint. It is so bright! He makes a slow, but steady way through along the mirrors at first. Avoiding walking face first into any of them and finding his way through the corridors.
Then he comes to the dead end. He just can't help himself and spends a few second being silly in front of each of the fun mirrors, before heading back to the hallway. He looks around with a frown and raises his arms, fingers spread out. Concentrating, he makes an attempt at making the mirrors closest to him vibrate as he slowly walks down the hallway. Nothing that would damage the mirrors. Just as a try to see if it would be possible for him to spot an opening to go through next.

Perhaps it’s the few moments Cian spends with the funny mirrors that give him the luck he needs. Or maybe, it’s the way he uses the dark magic within his veins to manipulate the mirrors. Maybe it’s both?
Either way, its to his advantage as he spies the opening he needs to continue through. And then, Cian finds another. And another, until he’s at the last stretch of the mirrors before the exit – the tune ringing out above the exit doorway for those that have managed to make it through.
Just a little bit further Cian and you’ll have it in hand!
Cian has made it 3/4ths of the way through the mirror maze!
The mirrors were dizzying to look at to begin with, and when the reflections started to vibrate, it became even more dizzying. Even so, Cian makes his way through the hallways, spying the openings that do not have a vibrating mirror image to know where he should go.
It seems to be going well, but after a while he stops the magic and stands with his eyes closed for a few seconds to rest them. This is when he starts hearing the tune of the exit, and he turns his head slowly from side to side in an attempt to pick out where the sound is coming from. He opens his eyes and starts moving again, slowly following the sound on the tune while holding out his hands to feel if he is about to walk into a mirror.

After checking out the vendors and food stalls, Lilliane now finds herself debating which game to try. Out of all of them, the house catches Lilliane's attention first. A building where no building was supposed to be. Seemed interesting enough to give it a try.
As she heads over to the entrance, Lilliane tries to get a glimpse of what is inside. A shimmer, maybe reflections? She would find out soon enough. To the good luck wishes of the woman in charge of the game, Lilliane smiles. "Thank you." Then she heads through the entrance.
Luckily for Cian, his luck pulls through – as does his effective use of the magic to get this far. Its thoughtful of him to listen for the music, hands outstretched in case of colliding with a mirror, a feat of which the man evades completely. He steps out of the House of Mirrors exit to go on about his day, receiving a little you did it! charm that he can affix to anything he’d like.
Cian has made it through the maze completely!
As Lilliane steps into the mirror maze, she’ll find that her luck is nearly equal to Cian’s at this stage in the maze. Perhaps it’s too easy, too many smudges from children and those not paying close enough attention on the mirrors to help guide her way through. Either way, she finds success within the maze so far.
Lilliane has made it halfway through the maze without encountering any issues!
At first, Lilliane needs a moment to adjust to the mirrors and lights around her. Then she proceeds slowly, trying to figure out a way through the maze. Although she can't help but chuckle when she sees a few smudges where someone apparently walked into a mirror.
Looking at her own reflection accompanying her through the maze, she can't help but think that this isn't really her. She knows it's her reflection, of course. But dressing up like this, just doing whatever she feels like, feels somewhat alien to her.
She stops for a moment to look at herself in one of the mirrors. In a way, the reflection in the mirror causes Lilliane to reflect on herself. Chuckling about her own pun, she turns back towards the path. Maybe she should just do what she feels like every now and then. And then she continues onward, heading further into the maze.
Siegfried has had a good time and laughed a lot he has eaten well and laughed a lot. It was now time to look at himself. The mirror cabinet. To see himself in the costume made him laugh, he liked to see himself like that. He liked his body and he liked what his training had brought him to.
He greeted the lady with a curt nod. But then, without hesitation, he went in the direction of the light and the entrance to the cabinet. Fun was the most important thing here. His cheerful nature would not be broken.
