Dark blue boiler suit, very mundane. Patches on knees and elbows to extend the lifespan of the clothing.

Mikolaj seems to live in a largely symbiotic relationship with a dark blue boiler suit. He and it both appear rumpled, ruffled and worn. They also both appear to accumulate grime as the day marches on, before then reverting by arcane means to clean (for the Drench) the following morning. This would suggest that Mikolaj in fact owns more than one such boiler suit.

The sun, the sky and presumably the beach. Quite fond of water, as long as it is in the right place (e.g. the sea). Has a small fascination with interstellar bodies, in part due to not getting to see the stars very often.

Moisture, damp, condensation, vapour, humidity, clamminess... Also harbours a newfound dislike for algae.

Generally upbeat.

Close to his parents, his uncle, and some (most) of his siblings.

Close relationship with his brother Temur, as well as his uncle.

Employed as an electrician in a largely family-affair.
