CIAN
"That it does..." He mumbled in return and gazed out the window as well. He did not have time to let his mind wander away for long before Sunjata spoke again, and right after the announcement about the next stop coming up. Cian looked back to the other man and nodded.

"I shall remember that. I would give you mine for later use, but I do not have a pen on me at the moment. Perhaps we can settle it over that milkshake." His eyes narrowed ever so slightly as the smirk returned to his face, and he reached to give Sunjata a light pat on the shoulder before standing up to be prepared for the next stop. While still turned towards Sunjata, he held onto a convenient handle in the ceiling and gave the man a couple of nods at the next questing. "If I were to get lost, I have this trusty map now." He waved the folded map he was holding.

The train started to slow down as it was nearing the spot, but Cian let other people gather up at the doors while he waited on his spot. He did not feel in a hurry to just escape the train anymore. Besides, one could not get out before the doors opened, so there was no point in joining the crowd. "Well, you have a nice continued day now, as much as you can with that... Supposed bunch of shit you're in." Cian was curious about that, but had decided to not push for too much information too soon. It could probably be a conversation topic for another time.

Sunjata
i bank on the funeral,
Sounds like a plan.” Sunjata murmurs, flashing his acquaintance a smile that actually meets his eyes, amusement flickering in his steel gaze despite how the other man stands to prepare for his departure. As for the map, a soft snort leaves him as he shakes his head, reaching over to grab another map from one of the other sections – one that details out PO5E Plate and POD Plate and where to find stores and restaurants for any kind of long term visiting.

He hands these to Cian as the train starts to slow before he slouches back in his seat, head tilting as he watches the other man linger while the crowd forms – a smart move on all accounts, if it were something Sunjata had to deal with relatively often. It isn’t, but it’s still a good to know fact. “Thanks. You too. I hope things get better for you.” And he pauses, because it doesn’t feel like an entire goodbye just yet, that polite edge beaten into him coming out when he adds: “It was good to meet you, Cian.

And unlike most of the other Platers, when Sunjata says it, it actually sounds real.
'cause i learned all my lessons that way

CIAN
Cian tilts his head a bit to the side in a curious manner and takes the new map. He gives it a quick glance and a corner of his mouth twitches in another smile. The train came to a full stop and its doors opened; people started exiting and entering. Cian threw them a glance, then back to Sunjata.

"Was nice meeting you as well." It sounded genuine, and it also seemed like he was about to add something more, but didn't. Instead, Cian just gave Sunjata another nod and smile, then made his way out of the train before the doors could close again. On the platform, he stopped and turned towards the window where they had been sitting. He lifted a hand in a short wave and would then watch as the train moved onward.

'Less panicking and more thinking now'. Once the train was out of sight, he turned his attention to the collection of maps, and started on his walk back towards the motel.
